I spent the first half of my summer living outside of NYC.
My dream city, finally a bus ride away.
My first day in the City I found myself inside of Port Authority--the bus station of New York City (it's like a mini airport inside).
Despite it being 7am it was bustling with people.
By the time I made way out of the terminal I needed some coffee so I made my way into a nearby Starbucks, then I was on my way to explore the City.
By 8AM I had made my away to Midtown Manhattan and to the very very busy, Timesquare. My favorite place: the Disney store! So nostalgic to my childhood memories.
and...spotted at Grand Central...(no bags in hand) there I was in the infamous opening scene of a favorite show--Gossip Girl. Not only is it a train station it's a place to dine and shop. (Pro Tip: Grand Central is inside and on the bottom level of the ______ building; go inside and follow the escalators downstairs)
The underground train station was magnificent; when you go don't forget to look up. The mural is faded butttt

It's faster and such a huge part of the NY lifestyle.
