Panama
In June of 2014 I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Panama City, Panama and work with the youth of this growing city.
Our team worked alongside, el Refuge, an organization that empowers the youth culture in Panama City.
Being in Panama for a week I was able to see the importance of learning a second language.
Throughout my middle school and high school years I had taken Spanish and was able to communicated on a very basic level with the Panamanian students.
