sunday's are my favorite day of the week.

i love getting up going to church and getting brunch with a good friend, my fav, NoLo's.

today in particular my pastor preached on philippians 4, a very popular passage filled with a lot of great reminders for our every day lives.

as a Christian Jesus promises us that we will experience a love & joy like none other because of our connection to Him. He promises a peace that no earthly thing or person could satisfy.

happiness is tied to circumstances, which is why one day you will feel so great and you could wake up the next day and be so bummed.

with jesus we know that we are so LOVED despite how are days go, what we do and in spite of what we do/how we act. it's comforting to go about our days knowing that we have the Price of Peace living inside of us. and it also holds us accountable to extending grace and mercy to others & ourselves.

life is so crazy with so many ups and downs but i believe that jesus calls us to live a higher level than everyone else; He calls us to give each other and ourselves mercy because that's what he does for us.

so one the day that you find yourself anxious or frustrated about the same thing you're trying to overcome, give yourself grace and continue to pray & believe that the BEST days are ahead.
